Effects
- Keeps the wrist, hand and finger joints in slight flexion, separating the fingers by exerting an individual extensor force on each finger through the straps.
Indications
- Rest splint as a treatment for pain, neurological pathologies.
- Hemiplegia, especially indicated for spasmodic paralysis, keeping the palm vault, hand and wrist in a reflex-inhibiting position, preventing deformations due to spasms and contractions, avoiding ulnar claw.
