Anti-Spasmodic Hand Immobilizer Splint

Splint by the brand Orliman® Ref TP-6102D/TP-6102I, made of thermoplastic, inner lining of sponge and plush (absorbent and washable), to prevent perspiration. Allows molding using a hot air gun.

Effects

  • ▪ Keeps the wrist, hand and finger joints in slight flexion, separating the fingers by exerting an individual extensor force on each finger through the straps.

Indications

  • ▪ Rest splint as a treatment for pain, neurological pathologies.
  • ▪ Hemiplegia, especially indicated for spasmodic paralysis, keeping the palm vault, hand and wrist in a reflex-inhibiting position, preventing deformations due to spasms and contractions, avoiding ulnar claw.
