Manufactured by the brand Systam® Ref. P361C, with memory effect foam and anatomical shape, combined with the properties of viscoelastic foam, allow to increase the contact surface with the pillow.

Features

• ▪ It allows to increase or decrease the pressure on some areas in order to obtain a correct sinking of the foam in the bone protuberance areas (sacrum, isquion), that is, to control and stabilize sufficient immersion in the risk areas before reaching the limit.
• ▪ The skin effect obtained through the molding process creates a protection in the foam against any type of external aggression, such as tear damage or disintegration.
• ▪ Innovative concept of ergonomic insertion, made of foam with high support capacity, for a better cushion structure.
• ▪ Better distribution and a clear reduction in skin pressure in high-risk areas, facilitating blood circulation.

Indications

• ▪ For patients in situations with pressure ulcers - EPUAP Grading Scale from 1 to 3.
• ▪ In situations where there is a high to very high risk of getting pressure ulcers according to the Braden, Norton, Waterlow tables.
• ▪ Advisable in patients who have a history that when they are sitting they are more likely to develop pressure ulcers.
• ▪ Patients who are in situations of paralysis of the lower limbs or spine, reduced frontal stability, slight postural asymmetries, vascular amputation.

Hygiene and Care

• ▪ Do not immerse in water.
• ▪ Clean with a damp cloth.
• ▪ Cover : removable and machine washable up to 95º C.
