Description

Ortótese to Realignment of the Lower Limbs of the brand Orliman ®, is composed by a band and two carriers in the area of the thigh, which are connected by means of some elastic belts and in turn create a pull on the inside of both thighs to the back of the band, with the aim of keeping the lower limbs in abduction and consequently the correct alignment. The band and the struts of the thigh are made of velour fabric with velcro fasteners. There are dots of silicone on the inside to prevent the displacement or rotation of the ortótese when this is to be used. The band is padded in the lumbar area for greater comfort. The straps that make the connection with the supports in the area of the thigh are elastic and made of fabric of polyamide and elastane, and feature a strip of velvet elasticated on the inside.

In situations in which there is a malfunction in the alignment of the lower limbs due to neurological disorders. The goal of the ortótese is to provide a standard gait more functional and with greater autonomy in everyday activities.
Disturbances in gait that require positioning of the lower limbs in abduction in patients with cerebral palsy.
