Dorsolumbar vest from the brand Orliman® Ref. TC201, provides through abdominal compression a slight dislocation, producing a limitation in movement in the lumbar region both in the anteroposterior, lateral and rotational directions. The dorsal component will produce a decoding effect. The straps end up having a retropulsion effect in the shoulder area.
Characteristics
- ▪ Both the dorsal and lumbar areas are made of breathable honeycomb mesh fabric with a wavy interior.
- ▪ The dorsal part consists of malleable aluminum plates with a pre-formed morphology, straps with elastic properties in soft padded fabric, for a better fit in the underarm area and at the same time for greater comfort.
- ▪ The sacrolumbar zone consists of a strip with an aluminum frame as well as transverse upper bars.
- ▪ The straps have a more rigid inner edge to allow a better adaptation in the dorsal area, allowing for greater elasticity in the armpit region.
Indications
- ▪ Especially suitable for patients with incorrect kyphotic attitudes, vertebral wedging, back-lumbar trauma, infectious lesions affecting the dorsal spine, disc herniations, postoperative period, osteoporosis, vertebral fractures and in cases where there is a need for a correction of the kyphotic curve.
- ▪ Some mild back pain such as T-8, T-12, associated with low back pain that requires temporary immobilization (such as the patient moving, domestic or work strain, etc.).
- ▪ In situations where there is a need for partial chest retention during some of the activities that the patient may have during the day.
