Children’s Lower Limb Alignment Orthosis
The Children’s Lower Limb Alignment Orthosis Orliman® (Ref. OP1172) has been developed to help ensure proper leg positioning in children with neurological disorders or motor conditions that affect gait.
It consists of a padded lumbar band and two thigh supports connected by elastic straps that apply gentle traction from the inner thighs to the back of the band. This system promotes abduction of the lower limbs, supporting correct alignment, greater stability, and a more functional gait pattern.
The supports and band are made of soft velvet fabric with Velcro fastenings, ensuring comfort and easy adjustment. On the inside, silicone dots prevent the orthosis from slipping or rotating during use, providing additional security. The elastic straps in polyamide and elastane, reinforced with an inner velvet strip, complete the stabilization system.
Indications
- Misalignment of the lower limbs caused by neurological disorders.
- Need for abduction positioning of the lower limbs in children with cerebral palsy.
- Cases of spina bifida or embryonic developmental disorders.
- Children with hypotonic musculature.
- Support in rare diseases affecting gait and balance.
