SAPA Funding (Health, Social Security, Education and IEFP).

Do you need an assistive product — such as a wheelchair, walker, adjustable bed or other technical aid — with the possibility of funding through SAPA (Assistive Products Allocation System)?

At Loja Ortopédica, we understand that applying for funding can raise questions and involve administrative steps. That’s why we support you throughout the entire process: helping you select the most suitable product for your needs, preparing the required quotation, and guiding you on the next steps so you can proceed with confidence.

Request your SAPA quotation and we will support you every step of the way.

We also provide quotations outside the SAPA scheme, including customised products or other specific requirements. For these requests, please email [email protected]

What is SAPA??

SAPA (Sistema de Atribuição de Produtos de Apoio) is the Portuguese public funding system that provides financial support for assistive products to people with disabilities and individuals with temporary incapacity. Funding is managed through different public entities, including Health Services, Social Security, Education and IEFP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the quotation free of charge?

Yes. Quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation.

What if I don’t know the ISO code?

That’s not a problem. Simply describe your needs and the type of product required — we will help identify the most appropriate classification.

How is the assessment carried out?

If you have not yet undergone an assessment, a specialised technician from Loja Ortopédica will contact you to understand your daily routine and practical needs. This includes your mobility level, environment (home, outdoor or workplace use), access conditions (stairs, door widths, lift access), level of independence, comfort preferences and any concerns such as safety, transport or maintenance. This ensures the recommended product is appropriately suited to your individual circumstances.

We are here to help you achieve greater comfort, independence and quality of life.
