Diabetic Shoes and Foot Ulcers

The Diabetic Shoes and Foot Ulcers manufactured by ORLIMAN (Ref. CP04) was developed to help protect sensitive areas of the foot, reduce pressure points and facilitate mobility during the recovery process. It is especially suitable for people with diabetic foot, wounds, plantar ulcers, heel injuries or injuries in the forefoot area.

Its design allows better pressure distribution, concentrating support in the midfoot area and helping to relieve more vulnerable areas, such as the heel and the front part of the foot.

This allows the user to remain more active in daily life, with greater safety and comfort, even during healing or recovery periods.

Features

  • ▪ Helps relieve pressure on sensitive areas of the foot;
  • ▪ Facilitates walking during recovery;
  • ▪ Can be used on the left or right foot;
  • ▪ Adapts to the foot after surgery, with bandages or dressings;
  • ▪ Breathable and comfortable material;
  • ▪ Non-slip sole;

For greater protection and personalisation, this footwear can be used together with the insole for diabetic feet and ulcers.

This insole is made up of small removable relief cells in a hexagonal shape, which can be removed according to the affected area. By removing these cells at the site of the wound or ulcer, an area without direct contact is created, helping to reduce pressure on the injury.

This system allows a more precise adaptation to each person’s needs, contributing to more comfortable walking and better protection of the affected area.
