Bivalve Cervical Collar with Chest Support

Manufactured by the brand Orliman® Ref. CC2800 , type minerva has the purpose of treating injuries that require an immobilization and unloading of the cervical spine. This orthosis provides cervical and thoracic support through the upper and lower module.

Characteristics

  • ▪ Made of low-density polyethylene, padded on the inside and with a velvet lining on the outside, increasing stability and patient comfort.
  • ▪ It avoids the risk of the appearance of any friction that could cause some discomfort.
  • ▪ Allows X-rays to be taken with the device placed on the patient.
  • ▪ Possibility of disassembling fabric parts in case you need to clean them.

Indications

  • ▪ In situations of trauma and severe injuries in the area of the cervical spine, immobilization of segments C1 to T1.
  • ▪ Post surgical protection.
  • ▪ Bone metastases.
